If you’re visiting us in the fall, checking out a home football game for the Wyoming Cowboys is a must. Join in on the fun with a tailgate party, a trip to a local bar to watch with friends, or watch from inside War Memorial Stadium along with 30,000 other fans.

10. Check out Monuments, Memorials, and Historic Sites

The Laramie area is rich in historic sites and monuments. We recommend a visit to the Ames Monument along I-80, a tribute to the Ames brothers and the Union Pacific Railroad days, and the Lincoln head on I-80 signifying the highest point on the interstate and the historic Lincoln Highway.
