Winter Lights Festival

November - January, 2025

Calling all children, families, and hopeless romantics!

Tough Guys Holiday Lights is hosting a free walking tour of lights at Washington Park. It will follow the walking path including the playgrounds and loop back on itself. The event will include 29 specially selected trees with unique light displays, 3 large light displays, 2 tunnels of lights, one as you enter and one as you exit. Please refer to the map on their website for more details.

While Wyoming winters can be dark, the Winter Lights Festival takes advantage of that to create a beautiful walking path of lights to celebrate the winter season. Stretching for almost a mile, it weaves through beautifully lit trees, light displays and tunnels.

On Fridays and Saturdays, there will be a place for local organizations and businesses to sell treats and drinks, before walking the path. Food trucks are also invited to set up near the walking path.

This is a beautiful walking outdoor lights display for everyone to enjoy the winter season, wonder, and festivities while raising money for local charities. Every display will be sponsored by a local business and each business will be recognized with a sign at their display. Money raised from this event will go to local organizations. The goal is to raise a minimum of $6000 to be equally distributed to each organization.

Make sure to check the event Facebook as details and dates for 2025 are released. There are several special nights throughout the season such as sensory friendly night lights where flashing lights and music will be turned off and senior night where transportation down the light trails is provided.
