The Hampton Inn – Laramie’s meeting space is perfect for small to medium size meetings and gatherings. We have space for 3 – 80 people and offer simplicity and friendly service. Outside food and beverages are okay and coffee/tea and water are included in the cost of the room. For a nominal fee, table cloths, screen, LCD projector, podium, flip charts and soda can be made available. We are located very close to the Laramie Ice & Events Center and the UW Conference Center.

Use the Alice Hardie Stevens Center to entertain, have a party or wedding. It fits most occassions and is located on the beautiful grounds of the Historic Ivinson Mansion.
The mansion, built in 1892, has been restored to its Victorian era elegance. For your event, the Museum will be closed for a time before, during, and after your event. The maximum number of guests is 50 people, due to the confined and delicate nature of the building.
Guests will be allowed into the Smoking Room (where male attendants can dress), first floor Powder Room (which is available for use), Drawing Room, Library, Foyer, Vestibule, and second floor Foyer (where the bride and attendants may ready themselves). Museum volunteers and/or staff will be in attendance to supervise the ceremony, provide security, and help where needed. Most of the antique furniture will be moved from the area used for the ceremony, along with breakables, but enough items will be left to provide a lovely Victorian ambiance. The bride generally walks down the grand staircase to meet her groom, and the ceremony can take place either at the bottom of the stairs, in the Drawing Room, Library or Foyer. Up to eight parlor chairs can be provided for older or handicapped individuals. Unfortunately, the Museum is not handicapped accessible, and there is no ramp to facilitate easy entrance. Decorations must be limited; heavy arrangements (especially those containing water, as well as those with flowers, pollen or glitter) must have a plate under them. Rental includes time for a short rehearsal a day or two before the ceremony. Food, water, and drinks are prohibited inside the mansion, and we request that your guests be forewarned of our strict “no-touching” or sitting policy. The Museum asks that bird seed be used in lieu of rice or confetti.

The depot is available to rent for private parties, meetings, and weddings. Reservations can be made for any day of the week any time of year. Rental rates are based on the date, number of guests, and the type of event. The depot is rented by the day or weekend. You may bring food and drink or hire the caterer of your choice to serve meals or provide a cash bar to your guests. The depot does not have a kitchen or sound system. Full payment is required to lock in a reservation. A damage deposit in the same amount as the rental rate is required at time of rental. The park surrounding the depot is a city park and can be reserved separately through the Laramie Parks Department. We have a large indoor arena that can seat up to 500 people. We rent this area out for wedding receptions, company parties and business retreats. It is lighted, heated and has a full speaker system throughout, including wireless microphones. The large yard and gorgeous garden area up at the lodge is also a great spot during the summer months to hold these types of events.
