The purpose of the Wyoming Buddy Walk® is to celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome and raise awareness about Down syndrome in Wyoming. The annual Wyoming Buddy Walk® also raises money to provide support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families. The Wyoming Down Syndrome Association, in conjunction with Ark Regional Services, organizes the event.

The 2019 Wyoming Buddy Walk® will begin at 9 am and we will have a variety of carnival games, carnival snacks, and live music from the 6 Million Dollar Band. 6MDB specializes in performing high energy 80s new wave dance hits exactly as the original artists with the correct sounds and musical style that made the songs unique. At 10:30 am we will have our recognition ceremony and walk. We return to the band shell where we will enjoy a lunch and a few more great 80’s tunes.  The event will conclude at 12 pm, which will provide enough time for people attending the football game to make their way to Tailgate Park to enjoy the UW festivities.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended. Pre-registering by September 3rd guarantees a t-shirt of the correct size, a football ticket, and helps registration move more quickly. We encourage you to take advantage of the pre-registration cost of $15 for adults (18 and up) and $5 for youth (17 and under). Registration after September 3rd is $20 for adults (18 and up) and $10 for youth (17 and under).
