Read, Rant, Relate: Partnership with Relative Theatrics @ UW Art Museum

Read, Rant, Relate returns January 23rd at the UW Art Museum with Lucy Kirkwood’s futuristic drama, THE CHILDREN: Two retired nuclear scientists reside in an isolated cottage by the sea as the world around them crumbles when an old friend arrives with a frightening request.

The reading will be presented in conjunction with the “Material Slip” exhibition. Refreshments & discussion to follow the reading.

Read, Rant, Relate is a free play-reading program funded in part by the Wyoming Humanities. Experience a new piece of dramatic literature in a unique setting with Relative Theatrics and the University of Wyoming Art Museum. Participants will engage directly with modern plays by listening to actor led readings of the texts, then joining discussions breaking down the thematic elements of the works and their relevance to today’s society.
