Aboriginal Skies @ Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium

Learn about the night sky as seen through the lens of Australia’s aboriginal peoples, from our very special guest presenter Paul Taylor.  How do they view the heavens, and what stories do they see unfolding in the skies above?  Join us for this very special event!

At this time of year, we experience the changing of the seasons – accompanied by chillier temperatures and crisp night sky viewing.  This month, the annual parade of winter constellations begins to take center stage, delighting viewers with the bright gems of Orion, Taurus, Auriga, Gemini, Canis Major, and Canis Minor, among others.

This December, we’ll feature a variety of evening public shows, a couple weekend programs for families, and a pair of special guest presenters!  Tickets are $5 for non-students, $3 for students, and free for children 5 and under.  Please visit our planetarium home page to purchase tickets, or you may pay cash at the door provided there are seats available.
