A Special Star @ Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium

Eight very unique planets orbit around a special star.  Come learn about the planets and objects that make up our solar system, and in the process learn why our sun is such a special star.

At this time of year, we experience the changing of the seasons – accompanied by chillier temperatures and crisp night sky viewing.  This month, the annual parade of winter constellations begins to take center stage, delighting viewers with the bright gems of Orion, Taurus, Auriga, Gemini, Canis Major, and Canis Minor, among others.

This December, we’ll feature a variety of evening public shows, a couple weekend programs for families, and a pair of special guest presenters!  Tickets are $5 for non-students, $3 for students, and free for children 5 and under.  Please visit our planetarium home page to purchase tickets, or you may pay cash at the door provided there are seats available.
