Lodging

Imagine sitting by the banks of the Little Laramie River watching freshwater trout rise as the ripples slowly fade to nothing. The willow leaves dance in the wind. Experience pure tranquility as you sit on the porch outside your Riverside Suite cabin. When you open the door to the cabin and step inside, you catch your breath. Each cabin is comfortably decorated with a western theme. You catch yourself smiling as you look around at the antique and log furnishings. There is a spacious seating area in the main room and the queen-size bed is inviting you to melt under its warm blankets and cozy quilts. The flames in the gas fireplace glow a soft orange. A separate bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. The full-size bathroom has a Jack and Jill vanity, washer and dryer, and a small refrigerator and coffee-maker. Staying in a cozy Riverside Suite cabin makes your hectic day-to-day whirlwind life suddenly slow down to a crawl and you realize you can breathe

Dining

The historic main lodge is home of the dining room. September 1 through the end of May, dinners are served on Friday and Saturday nights to guests as well as the public. A soup and salad bar comes with the main course. Fine steak dinners are what the Vee Bar is best known for, but there is also a selection of fish, chicken, vegetarian dishes, and delicious desserts! During the summer months, other meals are only served to our guests staying at the ranch. Hearty ranch cooking is supplemented with fresh fruit, homemade bread, and the ever-full cookie jar.

Activities

The Vee Bar is open year-round. During June, July, and August the Vee Bar offers all-inclusive packages and a wide variety of activities. During the summer months guests can take advantage of the horseback riding, hiking, fishing, river tubing, the great outdoors, evening entertainment, hayrides, camp outs, and more. These activities are offered through a 3 or 6-night all-inclusive guest ranch package. (Minimum stay required June--August). The rest of the year the Vee Bar is open as a bed and breakfast. Guests come to ride, hike, and sight-see for any number of nights, any night of the week. During the winter months enjoy activities in the mountains--snowmobiling, downhill and cross country skiing, and snowshoeing, or just relax in your cabin in front of the fireplace! Horseback riding is available (year-round) to guests staying at the ranch.
