Laramie & Albany County’s 150th Anniversary Kickoff Celebration
May 2018 will mark the 150th anniversary of the founding of the City of Laramie. That same year, Wyoming Territory was created, and Albany County came into existence in December. To mark these historic occasions, Laramie and Albany County will celebrate the 150 years of our existence beginning on May 4th.
Kickoff date for the Sesquicentennial, the day the first train came to town.

Starting at the American Heritage Center
Come celebrate Wyoming’s Statehood Day from 11am-3pm with birthday cake and a hot dog lunch (for the first 800 people). Entrance to the site is free during these hours. There will be kids activities,stagecoach rides and more.
The last tour tickets are sold one hour before closing.
