All performances are at 7:30pm and are followed by a chat-back with the actor and design team. Audience seating is on stage and there is a limit of 50 tickets per show so attendees are encouraged to get tickets in advance or arrive early. The play contains adult themes and language.
Description: 26 MILES is “an irresistible family drama… [with] one of the most original and refreshing matriarchs to come to any stage in a long, long time.” The production is directed by Landee Lockhart and Anne Mason, and features local actors Cecilia Aragon, Daniel Kindregan, Jeremy Rowley, and Kate Sterling. 26 MILES centers around Beatriz (Cecilia Aragon) and Olivia (Kate Sterling). The custody battle left them estranged for eight years. The road trip destination is two thousand miles across the country. The mother’s skin is brown, the teenage daughter’s, white. So what if reality’s nipping at their heels? This reunited pair runs fast and furious from the secrets in their lives, hunting valuable antiques, chasing arctic explorers, and getting lost in Wyoming’s wilderness. Critics have called the play “charming, spunky, and ultimately heart-rending…The car trip from Paoli, PA to Yellowstone Park is transforming and restorative.”
Tickets: Tickets are $12 in advance or $16 the day of the performance (subject to availability). Student and senior discounted tickets are $10 in advance or $14 the day of the show, with ID.
