Laramie Local Foods Gathering @ Whiting High School

Tickets for the Gathering are now available online through Eventbrite. Registration at the door is available but pre-registering guarantees lunch!

We will have a total of 12 workshops in three different tracks, Local Food, Community, and Sustainability.

The workshops include:
Container Vegetable Gardens – Brian Sebade, UW Extension
Tomato Grafting – Lisa Cox
Cheesemaking – Amanda Dougherty, Itipaw Sagebrush Ranch
Beneficial Insects in Laramie Yards and Gardens – Scott Schell, UW Extension
Microbiology of Soil and Composting – Pete Stahl, UW Associate Professor
The Community on the Farm – Matt Sigel, Black Market Farm
Look, Feel, Smell (Soil Quality) – Larry Munn, Retired UW Professor
Lawn Alternatives, Beyond Bluegrass – Chris Hilgert, UW Extension
Zero Waste Kitchen – Jane Thelen-Wade
